Joshi

Motorsports engineer. Gear systems, engine design, and the kind of work that ends up on a racetrack.

About

Bhrugu designs transmission components for racing cars. He is part of the engineering team at Xtrac Ltd in the UK, a company that builds gearboxes used in Formula One, Le Mans prototypes, and WRC cars. His work covers gear design, load analysis, and getting components from drawing to dyno.

He has also filed patents on original mechanical work and built the JRS Racing Go Kart as a full project from the ground up.

Behind BMJ

BMJ is not a company yet. It is where ideas live before they are ready to be one. Bhrugu wants to start something in motorsports engineering, and this site is part of building the relationships that make that possible.

If you work in motorsports and want to talk engineering, or if you have a project that needs someone who thinks in gear ratios and tolerances, he wants to hear from you.

Everything on this site is his own work. No agency. No template. Just what he has actually built and designed.

Projects

01

JRS Racing Go Kart

Built from scratch. Chassis, powertrain integration, weight distribution, suspension geometry, and track testing. Every call documented and iterated through real laps.

  • Full powertrain design and integration
  • Custom chassis geometry
  • Weight-optimised component spec
  • Track-tested through multiple builds
02

Gear Design

Transmission gear systems for motorsports. Load capacity, efficiency, packaging.

03

Engine Design

Powertrain design covering combustion analysis, thermal management, and component integration.

04

Patented Work

Original mechanical solutions filed as patents. Novel designs built for real performance problems.
